I'm having a fucking heart attack every few minutes when I play this game.
But it is a very, very beautiful game. The simple design of the world
translates an elegant yet surreal and ominous mood. It hovers between
dreamlike and a macabre nightmare. I LIKE.

14 Ways to acquire knowledge
by James T. Mangan
1) PRACTICE
Consider the knowledge you already have — the things you really
know you can do. They are the things you have done over and over;
practiced them so often that they became second nature. Every normal
person knows how to walk and talk. But he could never have acquired this
knowledge without practice. For the young child can’t do the things that
are easy to older people without first doing them over and over and over.

Most of us quit on the first or second attempt. But the man who is
really going to be educated, who intends to know, is going to stay
with it until it is done. Practice!

Some background art for an animation pitch
for P201. These were really rushed though. I was thinking of taking
this to completion next semester but...

After 4 hours of sleep (after two days of none) I finally see her with better clarity.
There are so many things I should have changed but didn't catch in time.-.-
Will post the final turntable and close ups when I edit it

Normal maps for the engraved areas of the headress. Seems to work
quite convincingly to fake detail. Eyes still looking like a dead goldfish
though. Was quite frustrating because I kept adjusting my outer eye
materials to no avail.
(After consulting Marc) Eyes are apparently more blueish grey
instead of the dazzling white I had before, which canceled out the
specular effects. (Basically Pure Eye White + White Highlights =
Can't See Shit) Also, light shape is turned on so it gets captured in
the glass material of the outer eye.
Old Master's Study
I'm unsure who painted the original but I'm sharing this poster colour study because
I'm really surprised at how it turned out.Trying to get a smooth gradient with poster
colour is a bitch but not impossible.
POSTER COLOUR IS AWESOME. Also, on the pockets.

I keep making the same mistakes with faces. Areas to watch out for:
Making the eyes too big, nose height too long, and general
proportions of features in relation to each other... BASICALLY
EVERYTHING, REALLY.
EVERYTHING, REALLY.
