A long long time ago, borne from a random doodle in an ex-school library.
Her grandma won a game of chess against Death. She was meant to have a dual personality, hence the bi-colored eyes...
For everyone who watched The Story of i, its hard to catch Red's bi-colored eyes. Here i upped the levels~ and it's still hard to see~

If I had said anymore the compositors and renderers would have thrown a chair at me. :)
